This may come as a surprise to you, but EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) has turned himself into the police.
Phil has spent time on a caravan park after kidnapping Raymond, knowing the cops are pursuing him.
Phil had intended to depart England and start a new life with Raymond under false identities.
Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Sharon (Letitia Dean) located Phil after Denise (Diane Parish) reported him missing.
Phil asked Kat if she would give up her life in Walford and join him on the run, with passports in hand.
Yes, we are aware.
Fortunately, Kat declined the offer and suggested that Phil stay and face the consequences instead.
And he succeeded.
Sharon and Kat wondered where Phil was as they returned Raymond to a relieved Denise and Jack (Scott Maslen).
Kat’s announcement that Phil had given himself up stunned Denise, Jack, and Kim (Tameka Empson).
Meanwhile, Ritchie informed Phil in the station that if the police uncover enough evidence to link him to Vincent’s murder, he’ll spend the rest of his life in prison.
Phil was taken aback since he had expected to get 5 or 7 years.
So, what does he have in store for the future?
Is this the end for Phil?
